ABOUT MY WORK

My work reflects a symbiosis between the cultural richness of my roots and the beauty of the surrounding nature. I combine traditional elements with contemporary interpretations, creating pieces that are both introspective and evocative of the environment I inhabit. Human figures, often in contemplative poses, seem to organically integrate into lush landscapes, suggesting a harmony between humanity and its surroundings. My use of color and texture adds an emotional and tactile dimension to my work, transforming each piece into a profound sensory experience. Together, my art is a tribute to the intrinsic connection between identity, culture, and nature.

TRIBUTE TO THE INTRINSIC CONNECTION BETWEEN IDENTITY, CULTURE, AND NATURE.

ABOUT ME

I am a Dominican architect and plastic artist, born in 1999 in Santo Domingo, with deep rural roots in Manabao. Since childhood, I have been closely connected to nature and the rural customs of the Dominican Republic, which has shaped my artistic and professional vision.

My training began in the plastic arts, where I discovered my passion for visual expression. Later, I broadened my academic horizon by studying architecture, thus completing my artistic education. My work focuses on contemporary and tropical art, with a particular emphasis on Dominican customs. I explore the relationship between humans and their environment, seeking to create spaces that tell stories and in which people feel identified and connected.

My goals are clear: to integrate art and architecture within a natural setting, with a local and cultural approach. My vision is to create spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also reflect the identity and history of those who inhabit them.

In addition to my work, I am an adventurous person who loves outdoor activities. Hiking, surfing, and running are some of the ways I connect with nature and find inspiration for my projects.
